Accompanied by a VHS camcorder, four “non-film” people come up with their own short films that they want to realise with a film team as directors. Reinhild wants to stage herself as a performative art figure. Mikdat has a strong feeling about a certain kind of dividing line in society, which he tries to express in visual language. Thomas tackles climate change through his involvement in Berlin’s Repair cafe scene, which he wants to document. And Daniel wishes Fritz Lang’s “M – A City in Search of a Murderer” into the present day. Our Hybrid-film will document their process and show parts of the resulting short films.
Von einem VHS-Camcorder begleitet, denken sich vier “filmfremde” Personen eigene Kurzfilme aus, die sie mit einem Filmteam als Regisseur*innen umsetzen wollen. Reinhild will sich selbst als performative Kunstfigur inszenieren. Mikdat hat ein starkes Gefühl zu einer bestimmten Art Trennlinie in der Gesellschaft, die er in Bildsprache auszudrücken versucht. Thomas begegnet dem Klimawandel mit Engagement in der berliner Repair-Cafe-Szene, über welche er dokumentarisch informieren möchte. Und Daniel wünscht Fritz Lang`s “ M – Eine Stadt sucht einen Mörder” in die Jetztzeit zu übertragen. Unser Hybrid-Film soll ihren Prozess dokumentarisch begleiten und Teile der entstehenden Kurzfilme zeigen.
